The Suttree Landing Call for Artists invites Knoxville sculptors to submit proposals for a new public sculpture at Suttree Landing Park. SoKno Sculpt, an initiative of the Old Sevier Community Group (OSCG), issued the call for an installation planned in 2026.
Submission deadline: February 11, 2026
Artists should submit a concept sketch or a photograph of an existing sculpture for consideration. Proposals also included the approximate weight, dimensions, and materials of the proposed artwork.
The project provides a $3,000 grant, with 100 percent of the funding going to the selected artist. Additional donations could also support the sculpture commission.
The City of Knoxville plans to construct the foundation in collaboration with the artist. Following installation, the City would own and maintain the artwork.
Eligible artists are required to live in Knoxville and be members of SoKno Sculpt.
