Rachel Gardner is a Knoxville-based artist who works in wood, clay, and metal. Her inspiration
comes from the beauty and people in her community, as well as her travel experiences. In her
artwork, she tries to bring together elements of everyday life that represent joy, beauty, and
wonder, with the goal of evoking these emotions in the viewer. She is currently a BFA major at
University of Tennessee with an emphasis in sculpture.
