Three Suttree Landing sculpture finalists moved forward for consideration following a February 13, 2026, vote by the Old Sevier Community Group. The finalists were selected from submissions by SoKno Sculpt artists and advanced to the City of Knoxville for final selection.
Concepts by Marisa Mitchell, Joe Kyte, Emily Moorhead-Wallace and J Taylor Wallace advanced to the next phase of the public art project.
The Suttree Landing project is being developed with Legacy Parks Foundation and the City of Knoxville as part of an effort to expand public art along Knoxville’s southern waterfront. The planned rail-to-trail park will include a 1.5-mile art walk through Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness.
