Submission deadline: February 11, 2026.
SoKno Sculpt, a part of Old Sevier Community Group (OSCG), is commissioning a sculpture to be installed in Suttree Landing Park in 2026. Knoxville artists are welcome to submit a concept sketch for consideration. Alternatively, if your sculpture already exists, please submit a photo. Please include approximate weight, dimensions, and material (marble, metal, etc.)
We anticipate an unveiling party in the Fall of 2026. We will select a Knoxville band for the live music for this event.
Details: Our grant is $3,000. 100 percent of this grant will go to the artist, along with any additional donations received towards the commission of this sculpture. The City will construct the foundation in collaboration with the artist. The City of Knoxville will take ownership of the art and will maintain it.
