Celebrating its birth were neighbors, artists, and friends, along with representatives of the City and Keep Knoxville Beautiful, our co-host. Consultants of Swing played two great sets, and a group of 48 members enjoyed the music, food, friendship, and a sense of accomplishment for a project truly accomplished as a neighborhood. Much thanks to all those who participated in helping to build and install this beautiful sculpture. Congratulations, Wilson, this is amazing work.

Both Bill and Jim are graduates of the University of Tennessee. Bill is a marble sculptor who discovered his passion while studying at UT and has pursued it ever since, drawn to the physical and spiritual challenge of shaping stone.
